Travel Tips
GETTING TO PACARÁN:
Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your date of entry. Visa requirements vary by nationality, so we recommend checking whether you need a tourist visa to enter Peru prior to travel.
TIME ZONE:
Peru operates on Peru Time (PET), which is GMT-5, and does not observe daylight saving time.
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION:
All international flights arrive at Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) in Lima. We suggest contacting Raúl Rodríguez via WhatsApp at +51 921 743 020. He’ll be happy to assist with any transportation needs, including airport transfers and transportation within Lima city during your stay.
PACKING:
Lima has a mild coastal climate, while Pacarán enjoys warm, sunny days and cooler evenings. We recommend packing light, breathable clothing, comfortable shoes, and a light jacket or sweater for evenings. If you plan to visit other regions of Peru, be sure to check local weather conditions, as climates vary throughout the country.
CURRENTLY & PAYMENTS:
The local currency is the Peruvian Sol (PEN). Credit cards are widely accepted in Lima, but cash is recommended for smaller towns, taxis, and local vendors. ATMs are easy to find in Lima.
